How much power loss will I loss by converting my generator to
an alternative fuel?
** 3-5% power loss because our custom kits are built around the generator, we
have only seen about a 3-5% loss of power.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still run my generator on gasoline after converting my
generator to an alternative fuel?
** YES, You can simply do this by switching off your alternative fuel source and
run the engine until it stops to ensure all of your alternative fuel is out of the fuel
lines and then turn on your gasoline fuel source.
How many BTU’s of natural gas per hour will my natural gas
generator use?
** To calculate this take your Horsepower x 2544.43 = BTU’s per hour
used on your engine.
If I purchase your kit will I be able to run propane, natural gas &
gasoline?
** This used to be the case because there was only one regulator offered but
because of many varying natural gas pressures across the United States the
pressure of 4 ounces is being found more often. With that being said you will not
be able to run propane with a 4 oz regulator. With that being said that is the
reason we only offer Propane kits or Natural gas kits.
People have asked us what makes our hose different from what is being
sold on the internet?
** The only thing I can tell you is we offer only the best, with over 35 years of
experience we have determined that this is the best quality hose when dealing
with a gasisty fuel when dealing with combustible engines not a poolheater or
furnace. Our hose is designed around engines.
Can I connect my generator to a ½” pipe?
** Yes you can. (Only if your generator is 5000 watts or below). Anything more
will cause a lack of natural gas volume to run your generator properly.
**Just a note, every elbow installed will reduce 3% of natural gas fuel
volume**
When I run my generator on natural gas if I hold the primer button in my
generator will run if I let it go it stalls what causes this?
** It could be a combination if issues, first of all make sure the pressure of the
outlet of your natural gas is correct and rated for the regulator we sent and just
remember that every elbow causes restriction and that ½” pipe will NOT work for
any generator above 5000 watts.
Why does my order still show processing?
** That means that your kit is being built and when it’s done, we will email you
the paid invoice with the tracking number.
If I install your kit will it void my warranty on my generator?
** When you install any aftermarket to anything, you always risk the chance of
voiding the warranty.
Should I continue to have my PM’s the same on my generator with an
alternative fuel as I do gasoline?
** YES, Continue as the manufacture warranty recommends that way you always
have a good record.

the claim in with UPS.
What stops gas from flowing if generator stalls?
*** It takes a engine vacuum to open the regulator so when the engine
vacuum stops the engine stops fuel flow.
Can I use a flex line to run my generator on Natural Gas?
** NO, Because even if it is a ¾” or 1” flex line the flare swivel fitting on the flex
line it reduces the I.D. (size) which reduces the Natural gas volume to your
generator.

How can I figure out the pressure coming out of my meter?
** There are 2 ways to do that. (1) Your gas company will be able to tell you in
ounces. (Ex: 4 oz or 6 oz) (2) A plumber will be able to tell you in water column.
(Ex: 7 inches or 11 inches of water column).
6 Ounces is equivalent to 11 inches of water column.
4 Ounces is equivalent to 7 inches of water column.
If I cancel my order before it’s shipped why would I still be
charged a restocking fee.
Because when you place an order online. Our merchant service company
takes there percent for the transaction.
Also when we return your money they also take a percent. Plus My
employee has to be paid to do this.
this is the reason you will still be charged a restocking fee of 25%.
